Larry “LaPret” Pretlow II, MPA is an artist, educator, and host of LIFE As Larry: Stop This Car — a Reflective Reality Therapy series blending the realness of unscripted life with the pursuit of personal healing.

He holds an A.A. in Legal Studies, a B.S. in Political Science, and a Master of Public Administration in Law & Public Policy. As the founder of LaPret World Music and former member of the hip-hop group Profound Intent, Larry’s work has always merged art, advocacy, and authenticity.

A devoted father, former political candidate, and community activist, he uses his platform to explore culture, identity, and men’s mental health — inspiring others to grow, reflect, and find purpose in their own stories.
